A few days ago I started learning a new thing online. It is a free online course provided by Harvard University that introduces you to the basics of coding. The first thing explained was on how to use scratch to form games and absolutely in the end we should be submitting an assignment.

As a beginner, I couldn’t figure out everything by myself, especially that in the course they did not explain all the functions in scratch, so at some point you should be the one roaming in the site to discover things by your self.

As I was having an extremely hard time, I decided to use chatgpt, maybe it can provide me with assistance especially that I do not really have people around who can help me.

I asked it the following:

asking chatgpt a question

The reply came as follows:

I tried to do as it stated above, however it was not working at all. Hence, I decided to face it and see its reply:

a message to chatgpt

Here is what ChatGpt said, I can not believe!

a reply from chatgpt

So as I showed you above, Chatgpt admitted its mistake and said clearly that this will not work.

But the question remains, why would Chagpt give me instructions for something it knows would never work? Why would it lie to me?

Well this is how artificial intelligence turned out to be, so make sure to never trust it. We are the ones who created it so we should never make it shape our lives with its lies.
